Pech Kucha

20 slides / 20 seconds

Using the popular format of the 20 slides in 20 seconds format of Pecha Kucha, postgraduate students from across the schools will be invited to present a powerpoint that explores the human senses. Each Pecha Kucha should be approximately 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

As three postgraduate students on the MA Sound and Image (School of Music and Fine Art), sight and hearing become the starting point for investigation into the senses however, the theme will be broadened out to encompass a wider understanding and discovery of what we mean by senses.

The aim of the Pecha Kucha is to invite postgraduate students from a range of disciplines to offer a perspective and approach to the senses from an alternative viewpoint whilst also providing an opportunity to develop valuable skills in presenting, public speaking, communication and dissemination.
